Untitled Newspaper Project

Invited by The Newsstand project curator, Victor Castaneda H, ‘Untitled Newspaper Project’ featured written works on newspapers (Oct. 13 & 14, 2018 copies of The Desert Sun) installed in an empty newspaper stand at the corner of Highland Ave and Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles.

✒️When I think of newspapers I think of my dad reading them on the couch in the living room.
✒️At what point is your hometown no longer considered home?
✒️No one’s sacred yet always treated with respect.
✒️What do you say to someone who’s going to die?

‘Untitled Newspaper Project’ explored memories of the medium, musings on belonging, what it means to call a place home, and the intersection of life, death.
